Please download and print out the programming manual first and then perform the instruction below to reset the scanner.

On page 7 from the booklet (page 7 in Adobe Reader), scan the following in order:

1. Start of Configuration

2. RESET

3. USB (for USB connection)

4. End of Configuration

If the connection is secured and one of the following issues takes place, then it could be a defective item:

• Device has no response at all
• The pins in the connector are bent or damaged
• An error message indicates that the device is malfunction
• An error message indicates that the device cannot be recognized

First, please make sure which kind of barcode you have. Download and print out the programming manual. Then perform the instruction below to reset the scanner.

For CHINESE POST CODE, please refer to page 32 (page 20 in Adobe Reader).

For MATRIX 25, please refer to page 38 (page 23 in Adobe Reader).

For MSI/ PLESSY, please refer to page 39 (page 23 in Adobe Reader).

For ITALIAN PHARMACY, please refer to page 40 (page 24 in Adobe Reader).

For CODE 39, CODE 93, CODE 128, CODEBAR, please refer to page 41 (page 24 in Adobe Reader).

Here is to set the scanner as felting length 1 to 5 digits, for instance.
